I found this Picasso quote today. It resonated deep in my bones as being true for my ways as an artist. At times it is as if I receive the energy of things. Shamanic beliefs are that all things are alive... even inanimate things. I once read a true story of a shaman who visited Miami and touched a skyscraper to hear what it had to say to him. Actually, what she had to say to him. According to that shaman, the building was female.
