It's thunderstorming. Ka-boom. And the gutters need cleaning. Guess who was stupid and got up on ladder to unclog the gutter drains. Swooosh... the water went once the clogs got undone. And me... Soaked.
The daisies have started opening up this week. I'm excited. These are from the dozen I transplanted 3 years ago. It looks like a huge number.
So, the nest in the carport has 3 hatchlings. The first nest was the one that fell. The carport nest was the second one. And I just noticed today that there are 3 hatchlings up there. The third nest is on a gutter drain at the back. When I was up unclogging the drain, I didn't see any eggs.
And a robin has been busy trying to build another nest. This one on a gutter drain outside the front office, can see it from the living room window. Funny thing... my partner saved the abandoned nests from the previous two years. Well, the robin is raiding those nests for materials for the new nest. HA!
So, nature is happening all over.

Go you must
No guest
Shall stay long
In one place forever
Love will be lost
If you sit too long
At a friend’s fire.
