After the holiday rush

Happy New Year to all my readers. My wish for you is a year (and a life) full of blessings, blissful moments, faithful friends dear to you and who gather near to you, and for all the right things that are right for you to come your way.

My partner and I had a wonderful little "After the holiday rush" party. One last showing off my Christmas decorations. Our first major "show off the renovated house". I made Chili. And I found a great frozen pizza at Sam's Club - California Pizza Kitchen "Sicilian style". Everyone raved about the chili and the pizza. We have tons of leftovers... 2 veggie platters (we had one and someone brought one), chips, chex mix, pretzels, cheese, Hershey's kisses, soda, juices, olives, pickles.

My partner goes back to work tomorrow. He's been on vacation for the holidays. And working on projects around the house. Thanks to his hard work putting up drywall for the first time, we now have a new laundry room. Fabulous. I'm using for the first time today.

So, it's a new year. And I'm in the process of figuring out what I want. Then again, I'm always in that process. Whether it's a new year or the middle of the year. Continuing my photography is a big thing I want. I had a slideshow on the computer of the "Best of Jeffrey". And I got much praise and complements. One party guest suggested I put together a book. That thought has crossed my mind many times.

I will definitely continue blogging on this blog and my gallery blog. It really helps my self-esteem to do this kind of self-expression.

So... what else? Well... I have a clue as to how to figure it out. A question I saw somewhere.

What would I attempt to do if I knew I would not fail?

Answering that question is a good place to start figuring out what else I want.
