Updates and Add-ons

On the side column...

I've added "Coming Attractions" of the events I'm looking forward to. I haven't decided if I'll go see Iron Man in the theater or wait for DVD.

I've also added some more links to "Found Treasures". Including one for MUTTS - my favorite cartoon strip. Every morning i read it at the on-line San Francisco Gate. And I've just subscribed to a daily strip in my mail box at the Mutts website. So I get the strip one way or another and start my day with a grin, a laugh, a "awww that's so cute", and occasionally a search for my ass after ROFLMAO (acronym for rolling on floor laughing my ass off).

Self-esteem front lines has been okay. Less anger, less often feeling like walking on egg shells, more confidence from writing this blog. Step by step I'm getting there.

Passport application... Um... Still not touched that. But it's still on my desk. I haven't lost it.

Finally passed inspection. I'm still not trusting the contractor. His failure to do what was needed to pass inspection shows little respect for customers. He apologized to my partner, but not to me. That's also disrespectful. I really don't think this guy understands how disruptive the remodeling process is for his customers or how stressful it is. I would start counting the days left on this project... but I can't. He isn't giving us any kind of calendar or schedule. Again... does he have any clue to how disruptive and stressful remodeling is for customers? I doubt it.

Free Comic Book Day is today. I was going to attend a comic drawing workshop at the library... but it's for children only. So, I'll settle with stopping for a comic book this morning when I go to the supermarket.

In one place forever
Love will be lost
If you sit too long
At a friend’s fire.
