Updating Time Again

OOPS, I MISSED IT
The 75th post came and went. I think this was the 75th post.

ZAC IS ON HIS WAY
Back here I told you about Zac Sunderland. He is pursuing his dream of being the youngest person to sail around the world alone. According to his blog (click here for Zac's blog)... he set sail on Saturday, June 14. Best wishes to you Zac.

PRIDE TIME
I went to Indy Pride and it was nice. There is a certain energy at pride festivals... a sense of community and freedom to be authentic. I knew it was there as I walked several blocks from where I parked. I passed two women wearing rainbows and they smiled at me and I smiled back. Any other day in downtown Indy, passing two women... there would be no smiles. That is the difference.

ONE COAT DOWN
Yup... painting happened!!! Yippee. Progress. And we made it happen without annoying contractors. And let me say this... painting is bad for my self-esteem. I suck at it. Or maybe not so bad... my partner didn't complain out loud about how bad a painter I was. So, the primer is on. Maybe some touch ups and catch some missed spots. Probably paint final coat next weekend, if the drywall guys come back this week to do their touch ups.

LEARNING FROM THE PAST
Anyway... there is another meeting for the event I am involved in. The last meeting was extremely frustrating for me... as I explained back here. Well, as try as I did to have fun with this event, it's just a consistent source of stress. Each experience is frustrating and stressful. Enough. This event is not worth the amount of stress it's been giving me. And besides, over half of the other people involved I don't like or trust or both. I'm letting it go and focusing on my art and photography and blogging.

In one place forever
Love will be lost
If you sit too long
At a friend’s fire.
